HELIX™

Superior Fluid Bypass

Wear Resistance:
Compared to other high-end thermoplastics our products provide a 20 times greater wear resistance.

Drag Reduction:
We achieve a drag reduction > 40%, enhancing operational efficiency.

Fluid Bypass:
Due to it's staggered placement you will maximise your fluid bypass for unparalleled cementing results.

Pressure Reduction:
By using our HELIX™ you will receive a reduction of 30% in average dynamic pressure and a 50% reduction in peak dynamic pressure.

Details

This offset composite centralizer is precisely engineered with your well bore specifications in mind. Its design prevents debris from accumulating in front of the centralizer. This reduced drag drastically increases overall efficiency for casing placement.

Conventional centralizers restrict flow while pushing debris downhole during the casing run. The offset composite centralizer allows unrestricted fluid flow as well as better debris dispersal resulting in lower ECD values. This improved circulation increases fluid distribution for a perfect cement job every time. Incorporating Maxwell's HELIX™ Offset Centralizer with your casing string reduces friction and drag, increases fluid flow, and improves efficiency for casing placement and cementing

Drag Comparison

HELIX™ vs Slip On Solid

Slip On Solid:

  • Potential that blade may sink into debris increasing risk of sticking
  • Only small junk slot area
  • Risk to collect debris while RIH resulting increase in drag

HELIX™:

  • Broad, low friction pads "slide" over the mug cake
  • Large junk slot area
  • Debris flow around HELIX™ pads
